FoxHunt Trailers is located in Union Grove, WI. We have been in business selling new and used trailers since 1999, and we also repair and service all trailers. Our philosophy in purchasing used trailers is “if I won’t put my horses in it, then it isn’t worth selling.” Whether we're taking in used trailers as trade-ins or just buying them outright, this standard ensures that we aren't passing on someone else's headaches to our customers.
We help the customer who lacks the time to advertise and sell their own trailers, and will consider consignment for those purchasing their next trailer from us. For us, this isn't just a way to make a living, we want to meet people and make lasting relationships, and we've found that providing great customer service is the best way to achieve that.
Since 1999 we've made a lot of friends this way, and we trail ride and socialize with many of them still. Our main concern is your safety, your horse's safety, and your towing ability. We are interested in your needs and wants, including whatever you can handle financially. We want you to enjoy your horses and your new trailer from FoxHunt Trailers, and you can’t do that if you're working 24/7 just to keep it all.
Before I became a horse trailer dealer, I was an EMT, working a hospital emergency room in admitting and triage. Before that I was a supervisor in the US Postal Service, working there for 14 years. We moved to Wisconsin from the east coast to raise our family of three children; one girl (who is very, VERY horsey) and two boys (who, of course, want nothing to do with horses, how typical).
I bought my husband Dick a mule last year for his birthday because that was all he wanted. He swears that mules are smarter than horses and easier to take care of, and since we got Annie, I am starting to believe him. She's the sweetest mule and is better than the EverReady bunny. I'm still sticking with horses, and I have a Rocky Mountain mare named Maggie.
Dick is a contractor by trade, and built our house, stalls for the horses, and does all repairs on the trailers that come through here. Originally in college to study engineering, he left school to work with his father many years ago. There's the saying “Jack of all trades, master of none.” Our saying for Dick is “Jack of all trades, Master of ALL.” It's impossible to stump this man, and he's a great asset to FoxHunt Trailers.
